Cinderella

I made a Cinderella Cocktail, or at least my version of it. I add a grenadine to mine to create the pink color, and to make it a little sweeter.

A Cinderella Cocktail is a non-alcoholic Cocktail. It's supposed to be a healthy type of cocktail providing energy or something like that. The version I made contains Pineapple, Orange, and Lemon juice, along with some grenadine. There are some other versions out there, but they either don't look as good in photos, or the ingredients are harder for me to find.

Shot taken with Nikon FG on CVS 200 ISO film.

Two Lions... Um... Yeah...

So I went to the National Zoo with a friend. It was awesome! We went all around the zoo and saw almost all of the exhibits. We couldn't find the Red Panda though.

When we went by the great cats area, the male lion and one of the female lions were nudging each other, then the female lion went down a level, the male lion followed and started "dominating" her (I guess you could say). Parents were pulling their confused children away, and I, along with many of those present, started snapping pictures. It didn't last long though, the female lion told the male lion to stop.

This shot was taken with a Nikon FG. Don't remember the camera's settings though...

We went to Solomon's Island for the weekend for my sisters graduation. This is one of the many pictures I took while there.

The graduation was pretty weird. The people who spoke weren't that entertaining, and it didn't seem like they knew they were speaking at a graduation.

Shot taken with a Nikon FG on Kodak 200 ISO film.

We went to Solomons' Island for my sister's graduation. While we were there, we walked around and visited different spots. We also stopped by the beach. It was still too cold to swim or anything, but it looks nice none-the-less.

Shot with Nikon FG on 200 ISO Fujifilm that expired in 2007. I guess I still need to let the film sit. I was also using a Polarization filter and a Neutral Density filter.

We had a road trip from Florida back up to Maryland for summer vacation. I was snapping shots all along the way, so expect some things to be added over the coming days. I always like trying to take pictures of things that go on forever, like power/telephone lines that seem to just run on.

This shot was taken with the Nikon FG on CVS 200 ISO Film. Settings on camera were f-22, and an a shutter speed of 1/500 sec.

My friend and I decided to try light drawing. We're doing simple things at the moment, but it's a bunch of fun. This was taken on our school's campus at one of the benches.

This was taken with my friends Canon Powershot SD1000. I'll upload some taken with film when it's developed.

I bought a neutral density filter and wanted to try it. The last picture of the sunset I took was over exposed, so this one turned out much better

Shot on Kodak Gold 400 ISO Film. f-22, 1/250 second, Neutral Density 4x Filter

Testing it Out

Someone gave me a Nikon FG. So this is one of the shots taken while playing around with it.

I got the camera for free, a pretty good deal if you ask me. The camera's shutter was stuck, so they gave it away. I found someone who had experience with the camera, and they got it working in a jiffy. So now I'm toting it around taking pictures because my digital camera broke. It seems like a great camera so far, and I hope I can learn more about it and show some great results.
